Before the winter break, we welcomed Flat Stanley into our classroom. Flat Stanley is a fictional character from a children's book, in which he gets flatted by a bulletin board. Although it is an unfortunate event, it has its upsides. For instance, he can be mailed anywhere in the world!
Our classmate Nicholas traveled to Taiwan over the break, and Flat Stanley was lucky enough to stow away in Nicholas' luggage. When Flat Stanley came back to Room 10, he shared some of his experiences of Taiwan. Thank you so much to Nicholas' family for hosting our flat friend!
Flat Stanley is looking for a new adventure! Do you know someone in another state or country who would be willing to host Flat Stanley? They would be asked to take some pictures of Flat Stanley next to some landmarks and write a postcard or two from Flat Stanley's perspective. If you can help with this, please contact Mrs. Riccomini.
