Step Up to Writing

Students learn that there are many purposes for writing, and many different forms of writing (narrative, expository, friendly, etc.) In Room 10, we often use a program called Step Up to Writing to learn how to write expository paragraphs.  The benefits of Step Up to Writing is that it gives students a framework for them to build their writing around.  About once a month, they have a Step Up to Writing assignment.  Here is an example of their October Step Up to Writing.
